Chefs, Colleagues, and Friends, Thank you for a great 2018. As we move past the winter holidays and enter this new year, we have much to be thankful this past year. We accomplished a lot to be proud of:
Supported Joe DiMaggio Children's hospital and Butterfly release raising $200 in donations
Supported San Ignacio University's Holiday tasting raising over $300 in donations
Held Quarterly Meetings where each meeting had over 30 attendees
Introduced our members to various tastings and educational seminars that included meat fabrication, tea tasting sake tasting, local farm presentations, equipment presentations, wine tastings, cheese tastings, chocolate tastings, and a whole lot of good networking and camaraderie
Gave away 3 student ACF membership scholarships to deserving young culinarians
Your board has been busy planning for this new year and we will look forward to seeing you at our Quarterly meetings, the first to be held at ARC Broward on Thursday March 14th at 4:30pm, so please mark your calendars. Details to come. Our goals remain the same for this year as they were this past year:
Have really great meetings that drive your attendance to them
Drive increases in membership
Recognize our student culinarians
Maintain and continue to improve our finances
